Role Overview
The Copywriter will be responsible for developing compelling, high-converting copy across marketing channels. This role is central to ensuring all written content aligns with the brand voice of John Madsen and the Supra Human ethos, while driving measurable results in lead generation, customer engagement, and sales conversion. The Copywriter will collaborate closely with marketing leadership, funnel builders, videographers, and the broader creative team to support demand generation and performance marketing initiatives.
A-Player Defined
An A-player in this role is a performance-driven direct-response copywriter who treats words like revenue-producing assets. They own the mission of keeping CAC at or below target by producing bold, masculine, voice-aligned copy that drives conversions not compliments. They move fast, test constantly, and write with power, clarity, and identity-level persuasion across ads, funnels, and email. They study performance data, track winning angles, bring solutions proactively, and consistently deliver ad scripts, funnel improvements, and email campaigns that lower CPBC, increase show rates, and scale profitable growth. They don’t wait for direction they attack the metric, iterate relentlessly, and write to win.
Objectives
Brand-Aligned Copywriting
- Write persuasive, voice-aligned copy in John Madsen’s brand tone across all marketing touchpoints.
- Ensure consistency of message across email campaigns, funnels, landing pages, VSLs, and paid media.
Email Marketing & Sequences
- Develop weekly email newsletters, nurture campaigns, and automated sequences that drive engagement and conversion.
Funnel & Landing Page Copy
- Draft copy for applications, opt-ins, landing pages, and funnel sequences to maximize lead quality and reduce cost per booking and assist in increasing show up rates.
- Work closely with front-end development to optimize copy-flow integration.
Demand Generation Support
- Provide hard hitting direct response copy assets for paid campaigns (Meta/Google), ads, and creative tests to reduce Cost Per Booked Call.
- Partner with the Director of Marketing to test and refine messaging strategies for both male and female market segments.
Collaboration & Alignment
- Participate in weekly marketing meetings and OKR sessions.
- Provide proactive input on messaging gaps, opportunities, and campaign performance improvements.
Quality Assurance & Iteration
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and clarity in all communication.
- Ensure all copy is reviewed by both Director of Marketing and required team members (Marco & John) as needed for quality checks.
Requirements
- Proven experience writing high-converting direct response and performance marketing copy.
- Ability to adapt voice and tone to reflect executive and brand personas.
- Background in health, fitness, performance, or coaching industries preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working within a fast-paced, scaling organization.
- Knowledge of funnel marketing, VSLs, and digital advertising best practices.
- Excellent command of English grammar, structure, and persuasive writing.
- Ability to research and utilize Macro & Micro trends to adapt copy to current market dynamics that match brand persona and brand voice.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage priorities and deadline.
Performance Metrics
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Improvement in funnel/application performance (Cost per Booking, application quality, booking show rate).
- Contribution to lowering CPB across campaigns.
- Consistency of brand voice across all marketing assets.

Job Type: Full-Time (Remote)
With the flexibility of a remote role working from anywhere while directly collaborating with our marketing leadership team comes the responsibility of being highly disciplined, data-driven, and accountable to performance. This position requires clear communication, fast execution, consistent output of high-converting direct-response ads and marketing copy, and a relentless commitment to hitting performance metrics specifically driving a CAC at or below KPI. You will be expected to manage deadlines, take full ownership of creative performance, and continually test, refine, and optimize messaging across paid media, funnels, and email. This role may also occasionally require availability for quick turnaround creative needs, ad testing cycles, and high-priority campaign launches.
