Role Overview
The Senior Solutions Architect for HubSpot is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex solutions that leverage the HubSpot platform. This role requires a deep understanding of HubSpot’s capabilities and integrations, along with the ability to align these tools with the business goals and strategies of clients. The Senior Solutions Architect will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to ensure that the solutions developed are scalable, efficient, and provide measurable value.

Objectives
Solution Design & Architecture:
- Design and architect scalable, high-performance solutions using HubSpot and its suite of tools, including Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, and CMS Hub.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and identify the best tools, frameworks, and solutions within HubSpot to meet those needs.
- Develop integration strategies between HubSpot and other platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, eCommerce systems) to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in HubSpot implementation.
- Lead code reviews, establish coding standards, and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HubSpot features, releases, and industry best practices to continually improve solutions.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with clients, product managers, and business analysts to understand business goals and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that the solutions delivered meet or exceed their needs.
Project Management & Delivery:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of HubSpot solutions, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor and report on the status of projects, including risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
Integration & Customization:
- Customize HubSpot modules to meet specific client needs, including creating custom objects, workflows, and automation rules.
- Develop and manage APIs and integrations with third-party applications to enhance HubSpot’s capabilities.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all integrations and customizations.
Training & Documentation:
- Develop comprehensive documentation of solution architecture, integration processes, and customizations for both technical teams and end-users.
- Provide training and support to internal teams and clients to ensure they can effectively use and manage the HubSpot solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Performance Optimization:
- Analyze the performance of existing HubSpot implementations and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
- Implement performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting strategies to ensure optimal operation of HubSpot solutions.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure all HubSpot implementations comply with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and internal security policies.
- Establish governance frameworks for the management and oversight of HubSpot deployments across the organization.
Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a solutions architect role, with at least 3 years of experience specifically with HubSpot.
- Certifications:
- HubSpot certifications (e.g., HubSpot Solutions Partner, HubSpot Marketing Software, HubSpot Sales Software) are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in HubSpot’s suite of tools, APIs, and integrations.
Strong understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of other CRM platforms and marketing automation tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in HubSpot’s suite of tools, APIs, and integrations.
