There’s a quiet pattern I’ve noticed over the years working with high-performing women.
They will invest extraordinary amounts of time, energy, and resources into everything around them. They show up as leaders, builders, and caretakers. But when the conversation turns toward investing in themselves, something shifts.
The negotiation begins.
“Maybe later.”
“Once things slow down.”
“After I take care of everyone else.”
Somewhere along the way, many women learned to place themselves at the bottom of the list.
And yet, the moment a woman decides she is worthy of her own investment, everything begins to change.
Not just her body, her entire life.
“I realized that the money and the time that I put into my company, I should invest in myself, my well-being, emotionally as well as physically.”
That realization carries so much truth.
Women build extraordinary lives while quietly running themselves empty. But you can’t pour excellence into your work, your family, or your community if your own cup is constantly depleted.
Taking care of yourself is not selfish.
It’s leadership.
The Decision That Changes Your Identity
One of the most powerful moments I get to witness in Supra Human is when someone stops waiting.
It’s rarely dramatic. Often it’s a quiet decision. A woman deciding she’s done postponing the version of herself she knows is possible.

“Looking back, if I had skipped that first Supra Human call, I’d probably still be telling myself, ‘I’ll start next week.’ That one decision didn’t just change my health, it changed how I carry myself.”
That single decision to start is where transformation really begins.
Not with the perfect plan. Not with total certainty. But with the willingness to stop negotiating with your potential.
So often, we think we need more motivation, more clarity, or more time before we begin. What truly creates momentum is the moment you decide you’re done delaying the life you know you’re capable of living.
Growth Is Uncomfortable… And That’s the Point
We live in a culture that encourages comfort above all else.
Ease is marketed as success. Convenience is presented as progress. Discomfort is something we are taught to avoid.
Every woman who has truly transformed her life knows something different. Growth almost always begins with discomfort.

“Just remind yourself that it’s okay to be uncomfortable. We know that being uncomfortable is good for us, but it’s one of the things we push back against and resist the most. So know your why and be ready to change.”
There is so much wisdom in that mindset.
The goal is not to eliminate challenges from your life. The goal is to become the kind of woman who can move through challenges with clarity and strength.
Discomfort isn’t a warning sign that you’re doing something wrong. More often than not, it’s simply the doorway to the life you’ve been wanting.
The Return on Investing in Yourself
When people think about investing in their health, the first things they imagine are physical results.
Weight lost. Muscle built. Energy restored.
Those changes absolutely matter, but the real return goes far deeper.

“Return on the investment is 1,000%, not only physical. No doubt about it. There’s a significant physical return. Losing this much weight, you see it in the mirror. You see it in the way your clothes fit. It’s incredible. To get those results, you really have to change your habits. It’s a lifestyle change. It is not a temporary diet, a temporary fad. It’s something where you change the way that you live so that you can live a better, happier, more confident, and stronger life. By doing that, you get a return in confidence. You get a return in healthier daily habits, healthier thinking about yourself, about your food, and about your physical activity. Everything about you changes in positive ways.”
When your habits change, everything else begins to shift with them. Your confidence grows. The way you think about your body changes. The way you speak to yourself changes. The way you show up in the world changes.
At that point, the transformation becomes less about appearance and more about identity.
Women Deserve to Take Care of Themselves
This message matters deeply to me, both as a woman and as a leader.
For too long, women have been conditioned to believe that putting themselves first is indulgent.
That taking care of themselves somehow diminishes their ability to care for others.
The truth is the opposite. Women deserve to take care of themselves. Period.

“It’s not just a physical transformation company. It’s a lifestyle and mindset transformation company. We need to be taken care of. We deserve to take care of ourselves, be healthy, you know, improve our longevity, improve our fitness.”
Taking care of your body isn’t vanity.
It’s respect.
It’s honoring the one life and the one body you’ve been given.
The Ripple Effect of Choosing Yourself
Perhaps the most beautiful part of this journey is what happens after a woman consistently begins showing up for herself.
The transformation never stays contained to the gym or the kitchen.
Her energy changes. Her confidence deepens. Her leadership evolves. Her relationships become stronger.

“It’s time to put yourself first. And then that way we can show up for everything else and everyone else around us. As women, we should know that we deserve this 100%.”
She’s right.
When a woman takes ownership of her health, her standards, and her self-respect, she becomes an example to everyone around her.
Her children see it. Her friends feel it. Her community benefits from it.
A woman who chooses herself doesn’t become less available to the world. She becomes more powerful within it.
A Personal Note
If you’re reading this and you’ve been telling yourself you’ll start soon, I understand that hesitation.
Every meaningful investment asks something of us. Time. Energy. Accountability. Courage.

But after watching thousands of people make this decision and making it myself, I can tell you something with certainty: the regret never comes from starting. It comes from waiting.
So if there’s a quiet voice inside you that knows you’re capable of more, a stronger, healthier, more disciplined, more alive version of you, listen to it.
That voice isn’t pressure. It’s permission.
Permission to become the version of yourself you’ve always known was possible.
And trust me, she’s worth the investment.
If I hadn’t made the decision to invest in myself, I would not have built the life I have today, including the things I once dreamed of and ones I never imagined. Being named one of Inc.’s 500 Female Founders of 2026 is an incredible honor, but to me, it is also proof of what can happen when a woman fully invests in herself.
You do not know how much is waiting for you on the other side of that decision if you keep stopping yourself from making it.
