Thank you to my coach @Ryan.McEwan1. I started last July with goal to cut, gain & cut again all before summer 2024 and my 54th birthday in 3 weeks. I have lots of room to improve and Ryan knows I’m not perfect. Running a business, family, kids, and managing Type 1 diabetes all plays a part. If new to Supra, follow the plan. Listen to the coaches. Take in all the calls and advice. Progress over perfection. I’ve learned so much about managing my macros that the losing fat is so much less daunting. Muscle gain is where I need to be patient.
I woke up today and decided to capture a photo besides standing in my bathroom at 5am. I think the morning sun and climbing out of a lake helped!!
This is an amazing community of humans. Supra Humans. Thank you all for being my motivation to set a new standard for myself.

Good morning! I want to share my reactive gratitude for Supra Human this morning after 16 months in! Went to Lifetime at 4:45 and wanted get some extra steps before the day start, quick upper body crush after.
But while on the treadmill I saw all these people beating the shit out themselves, doing burpee’s, all kinds of crazy extra shit. Trying to loose weight….
16 months I am sub 8% body fat Lifting More than ever and feeling good. This is easy and everybody else is making it hard, grinding got to beat myself up…

I saw a picture of my childhood buddy Grant Brecher….He was all ripped up and lean so I could tell he had made some sort of change…that’s when he introduced me to SupraHuman.
It was May or June 2021 and I was still fresh off a divorce, depressed, and overweight…I needed a change…not only for myself but for my young boys, whom I wanted to be an example for. So, after a few weeks of thinking about it, I dove in at the beginning of July 2021.
I started at 240 pounds with low energy, didn’t sleep well, and was always embarrassed to take my shirt off in front of my boys, let alone anyone else.
Fast forward to May 2021 – I was down to 175 pounds and roughly 7.5 – 8% body fat, with more energy, better sleep, and feeling much better about myself. Not only that but maybe more importantly my MINDSET had massively changed. MOST importantly, I was a much better example for my boys.
If I can do it and get results, anyone can do it. The accountability of my coach Ryan Sedillo was the key piece for me. Was I perfect all the time? Not even close, but consistency is the KEY! I found that If I could string together 4-5-6 days in a row where I crushed my macros, it made a huge difference. The workouts became the easiest part for me…they became part of my consistent daily habits…it got to the point where I didn’t feel right if I didn’t lift or get my 10K steps. ALL ABOUT CONSISTENCY!
The nutrition was the toughest part. For me it was sticking with mostly the same food sources day to day…simplified things for me.
Many people would comment on my changes or ask me how my “weight loss” program was going…as I thought about that it occurred to me…the hell with that…this isn’t a weight loss program…this is a body and mindset TRANSFORMATION program! And as John has talked about, even if I have a bad 1-2 months where I fall off, I will never be more than 4-6 weeks away from being jacked again because of what I learned and the foundation I have built…truly life changing!
